Offered is this second vintage 5pc set of Britains Bedouin Arabs, hand painted lead toy soldiers manufactured by W. Britain, London, England.  5 mounted on horseback armed Arab soldiers.
Provenance: This set is one of 19 sets of Britains, England toy lead soldiers from the living estate of my friend JJM that I am currently in the process of listing for him.  These Soldiers were all purchased for him to play with when he was a young boy.   The sets were all in a large box and in storage since that time and I had to do my best to match boxes with soldiers.  I believe tops match soldiers correctly however not all in the correct bottoms they would have originally been attached to with some having remnants of thread that I believe was used to secure them at the time.  Due to health issues, JJM, a retired attorney is now 85, selling his home and relocating to an assisted living community.  His wish is to see these toy soldiers end up with collectors who appreciate them.
