Compatible with the following Yamaha motors : PW-SE, PW-X, PW-TE, PW-X2 and PW-ST.
SpeedBox 2.0 chip is activated by pressing the ‘WALK’ or ‘LIGHT’ or ‘↑ ↓ ↑ ↓’ buttons. If you want to control your SpeedBox and lights separately, use the combination of ‘↑↓↑↓’ buttons. By pressing the arrows in that order you can activate and deactivate SpeedBox anytime independently of the lights control.
Displays of eBikes produced in 2019 show a speed of 6mph (9 kmh) after activation. From now on you can ride at a speed - 25mph (40 kmh); 31mph (50 kmh) or even more than 37mph (60 kmh).
Displays of eBikes produced between 2017-2018 show the speed of 6.1mph (9.9 kmh) after activation. From now on you can ride at a speed of - 25mph (40 kmh); 31mph (50 kmh) or even more than 37mph (60 kmh).
To deactivate the tuning kit, press the ’WALK’ or ’LIGHT’ button again. The speed limit of15mph (25 kmh) is reset. Your eBike will then work the same as before chip installation.
After installing your SpeedBox, the display will show real data, such as maximum and average speed, daily mileage and cruising range.

This tuning kit is compatible with all 2017-2020 eBikes that have YAMAHA  PW-SE / PW-X / PW-TE / PW-X2 / PW-ST motors.

When connecting the SpeedBox chip to an e-bike you will find connectors colored to make installation very simple. We have prepared a video to make installation easy for you. Disassembly of our tuning chip is just as easy. If you have any troubles with installation or disassembly, do not hesitate to contact us.
